Cheer
The Cheer team returns after a year of remote learning. The squad definitely wants to get back in the action, support our athletic teams, and showcase their abilities. The Cheer team also represents The Preuss School at various non-athletic events.
The coach, Stephanie Garcia, was asked three questions. One, how long have you coached the Cheer team at The Preuss School? Coach Garcia has been involved with the program since 2006. Two, what is your experience with participating and/or coaching Cheer? Coach Garcia said, "I was a cheerleader for pee wee soccer when I was in elementary school. Then I tried out for cheerleading in 7th grade at my junior high and kept at it. I cheered from 7th - 12th grade." Three, what are your goals for this school year for the Cheer team? Garcia responded, "My goals for the team: they get to cheer at home games and feel the experience of cheering on a team with a spirited crowd; we find a coach who can teach them how to stunt and tumble safely."
