The Main Gymnasium, UC San Diego
The Main Gym at UC San Diego is the oldest facility on campus. It was constructed back in the 1960's. It is home to The Preuss School volleyball and basketball teams.
Directions
The Main Gym does not have a physical address. It is located at the end of Scholars Lane. Exit the I-5 freeway at Genesee Avenue and head west, up the hill. Turn left at Torrey Pines Road. Follow to La Jolla Shores and turn left into campus. Make another quick left on Scholars Drive. Follow past the turf field and take a right on Scholars Lane and drive to the end.
Parking
All visitors to UC San Diego must pay for parking. The Main Gym is located on the west side of campus. Use the website below to find available parking. On the website, click Parking and Transportation, on the left-side menu. All parking will be highlighted with a "P." Make sure to find a kiosk to buy a permit. Largest parking structures close to the Main Gym are Pangea (north of the gym) and Osler (southeast of the gym).
