Athletic Conference
The Preuss School competes in the Frontier Conference for the sports of cross country, volleyball, soccer, and basketball. The Preuss School was a founding member of the Frontier Conference. This athletic conference was created to best serve small schools and athletics programs to provide a vehicle for fair competition.

Associations
The Preuss School competes in boy's and girl's lacrosse in the San Diego City Conference. The Preuss School joined the City Conference for the 2019-20 school year.

The Preuss School is a member of the San Diego Section of CIF (California Interscholastic Federation). Being a CIF member allows our teams to compete in an athletic conference and qualify for the play-offs.
